Do I need to pay if I am here for "Pratima Darshan" only?

Düsseldorf Durgapuja 2024 by Indische Gemeinde Düsseldorf e.V. offers a platform for Indians to connect and network. Organizing this event involves significant costs (hall rental, decoration, logistics, prasad, etc.). As a nonprofit, we ask for a minimal contribution ("Entry Fee") from visitors to cover these expenses:

Adult: 10 € per day

Students (High School & University): 8 € per day

Kids below 10 Years: Free Entry

What is included with the Entry Fee?

The entry fee grants you access for the entire day, with the flexibility to enter and exit multiple times (please retain and present your coupon upon re-entry).

With your entry fee, you get:

1. Full-day access to the Puja Hall
2. Participation in Puja rituals, Pushpanjali, and evening Arti/Prayer
3. Blessings with a token of Puja Prasad (fruit and/or sweet)
4. 1 Chai (Tea) coupon
5. Access to evening Cultural Program*
6. Opportunities to network with the Indian community
7. A chance to volunteer and help make the event a success
8. A golden opportunity to introduce your child(ren) to our culture and heritage

Do I get Lunch/Dinner/Snacks?

Lunch and dinner will be available for purchase from professional food vendors on-site, though these are not included in the Entry Fee. You can explore a variety of dishes at the food counters and pay directly for your selections.

Do I need to pay a separate donation?

IGD welcomes voluntary donations, which help us enhance the quality and impact of our community events. Donations are tax-deductible and are in addition to the Entry Fee. Your generous support makes a meaningful difference. Additional benefits for donors will be communicated at the Front Desk.
